Livestock silent auction offered
Kuhio Hale Farmers Market is introducing livestock silent auctions every Saturday in Waimea.
The market is seeking sellers and buyers who want to sell their animals in a unique and convenient location at 64-756 Mamalohoa Highway. The auction begins with registration at 8 a.m., bidding from 9-10 a.m. and winning bids announced thereafter.
The market is offering this service to all sellers free in October. Trailers must be pre-registered because space is limited. For more information or to register, call 882-0403.
Kuhio Hale Farmer’s Market is an entity of the nonprofit Waimea Hawaiian Homestead Association. The market began in August 2015 and is managed by an agricultural board made up of association members.
